XO, Kitty is a spin-off series from the 'To All the Boys I've Loved Before' film trilogy, focusing on the youngest Song Covey sister, Kitty. Believing she is an expert on love and romance, Kitty Song Covey decides to move halfway across the world to Seoul, South Korea, to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, Dae, for her junior year of high school. She enrolls in the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS), the same elite boarding school her late mother attended. However, Kitty’s perfect plan is instantly derailed upon her arrival when she discovers that Dae is seemingly dating a popular girl named Yuri, throwing her entire romantic vision into chaos. Forced to navigate a new country, a new school, and a complicated new life, Kitty must quickly adjust to the realities of her new world. She finds herself in a series of dramatic love triangles and unexpected encounters, not only with Dae and Yuri but also with other students, including her charming roommate Min Ho and the rebellious, musically-talented Q. As the season progresses, Kitty begins a profound journey of self-discovery, challenging her long-held beliefs about love, relationships, and her own identity. She delves deeper into her mother's past at KISS, uncovering family secrets, all while grappling with her confusing and burgeoning feelings for an unexpected person. The series is a sweet, lighthearted, and vibrant exploration of first loves, friendships, and the realization that the heart can lead you in directions you never anticipated.
